When we worship God, we are connecting with the one who created us to express our honor, devotion and love. Worship can happen at a gathered time of singing at church or an act of sacrifice in some other way at any time. When we do anything that brings honor and glory to God, it is an act of worship. God expects us to demonstrate our love to him with all that we are. We are told to love him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. It is important for us to understand how to engage in worship in a way that involves all that we are. Our minds, our hearts and our strength all belong to him. For a few weeks we’re going to explore how we can be more fully engaged in our worship as we honor the Lord.
