Have you ever received a gift that was so wonderful that you wanted to share it with someone else? Sometimes we’ll purchase that same thing and give it to someone else because we hope they will love it as much as we do. What about the gifts that God gives us? Are we prepared to share those gifts with others as well? The great news about spiritual “regifting” is that we don’t have to give up our own gift to share it with others. God gives us enough to share with others! Advent is a time for us to celebrate the arrival of Jesus as our savior and his second coming. The four themes of Advent - love, joy, peace and hope- are wonderful gifts that God has given to us through Jesus. But these are not gifts that are meant to be kept private. They are meant to be shared with others. This year as we celebrate Advent, let’s find creative ways to “regift” the grace that God has given us and pass our blessings on to others!
