From Series: "Purpose and Power"
After Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, the disciples were concerned about how to move forward without their fearless leader. Jesus assured them that they would never be alone because the Holy Spirit would be with them to guide them and empower them. The same thing is true for us today! As followers of Jesus we have access to the same power and guidance that those early Christians had. As we read through the book of Acts, which records the history of the early church, we can see examples of how the Holy Spirit helped them. Throughout this series we’ll see how these principles apply to our own lives so that we too can find our place in the Kingdom of God. With the help of the Holy Spirit we can discover power and purpose for life and ministry.
