Thoughts of Christmas trigger different emotions for different people. For some, it is a time of anticipation as they look forward to spending time with family or friends and exchanging gifts. Some are filled with joy as they take in the beautiful decorations all around them. But there are many who feel that something is missing. Maybe they don’t have family to spend the holiday season with. Perhaps there are painful memories associated with this time of year. If we attempt to fill our hearts with joy simply by chasing lights and gifts, we will come up short. However, if we search for the true meaning of Christmas, we will find hope in the narratives that tell this amazing story. Let’s go on a journey of discovery as we search for hope in the story of Christmas!
