Long before Jesus walked the dusty roads of Galilee, the poets and kings of Israel were already telling His story. They sang of a coming King, a suffering servant, and a friend who would be betrayed. They were longing for the Messiah—the Anointed One who would finally set the world right. But these ancient Psalms aren’t just history; they are a mirror. As we read them, we often find ourselves in the same place the Psalmists were: wrestling with broken trust, searching for purpose in our pain and wondering if God hears us in the silence. As we journey toward Easter, we will bridge the gap between these ancient songs and the life of Jesus. We’ll see that the cross wasn't an accident, but a long-promised rescue mission. We discover a powerful truth: If God was faithful to His plan for the world, He will be faithful to His plan for us.
