What is at the top of your Christmas list this year? A vaccine? An end to hurricane season? Spray for murder hornets? Christmas is supposed to be a time of peace and joy, but those things have been hard to find recently. But maybe we are just looking in the wrong place. As we get ready to celebrate Advent this year we are going to focus on the gifts that Jesus brought us. Even though he came to earth over 2000 years ago, his gifts are still providing what we need to have a good life and an eternally good future. Let’s take a break from politics and the pandemic and focus on the good things that Jesus has given us. We need them now more than ever!
