In the bible, an altar was a place where people went to meet with God to offer a prayer or sacrifice or to celebrate the goodness of the Lord. Today the concept of an altar is more symbolic than literal for us since we don’t have to make animal sacrifices any more. However, we still meet with God at a spiritual altar. And the great news is that he meets with us as well! In His presence, we find restoration, healing and salvation. Are you ready to meet God at the altar today? He is ready for you!
