The beginning of a new year is a great time to consider making changes to your life. Perhaps it’s time to exercise more or eat less. Maybe you need to wake up earlier or develop spiritual disciplines like praying or reading your bible. While many people make New Year’s resolutions, 93% of them will fail to achieve their goals. Most of the time that failure is due to a lack of strategic planning and an over-reliance on hope and will power. The secret to success in creating lasting change in our lives is not found in self-determination, but in biblical principles that allow God to transform our lives. In this series, we’ll take a look at how habits work and discover strategies to plan for success in breaking old habits or building new ones. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can embrace healthy change.
